I really like the Jackery explorer 5000plus, however I am slightly disappointed in the solar saga 500 watt panels & the connection cords. Terminals & cords are to light duty. The panels rarely achieve 350 to 375 watts in direct mid day sunlight. Therefore should be marketed in that range or a 3 panel set up. Thank you!

BrentGenerator to protect and provide power to PC's
My wife and I started looking in to getting a generator to provide power and to protect our PC's from power surges and outages at home. We looked at reviews for several different generators from different sources and one name kept coming up with great reviews and that name was Jackery. So we decided after looking at the Jackery line up of products to go with the Explorer 5000 plus. After a short learning period we learned we had to take our PC's off of the UPS's during power outages and plug directly in to the Jackery. Now we don't worry when storms move in to our area. Great product! We just love it!

What an easy set up for whole house backup. Had are first test of the system lost power while we were watching TV, heard the unit click that was the only thing we noticed. I thought it may be charging but then a notification came on my phone that power was out. It was amazing, didn't lose internet tv didn't shut down even the stove clock stayed on. Great product I am referring it to everyone that wants peace of mind. When power came back on two jour later the only sign was that click from the unit. Crazy fast.
The reviews Jackery publishes for this model are all positive. That may be the product, or it may be which reviews the vendor chose to publish — treat a one-sided corpus as weaker evidence than a mixed one.
