Affiliate disclosure

WattPicks is reader-supported. When you buy through links on this site, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship is disclosed here, in the site footer on every page, and near product CTAs.

Amazon Associates

Most purchase links go to Amazon via the Amazon Associates Program. Our tracking ID is wattpicks-20. Commission is paid by Amazon when a qualifying purchase is attributed to that ID; you do not pay more because of the tag.

Other retailers

Some links may go to manufacturer stores or other affiliate networks when Amazon is not the better destination for that SKU. Those links also use rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab where the template supports it.

What commissions never change

Affiliate funding does not change how we collect or normalize manufacturer specifications, how rankings are computed from that dataset, or when we say a product is a poor fit. Specs come from vendor listings; rankings are formula-driven from those specs. We do not sell placement in rankings or invent lab scores to favor a higher commission.

WattPicks is an independent third-party comparison site. Independence here means editorial control over copy, data rules, and fit guidance — not that we refuse all commercial relationships. The funding model is affiliate commissions, disclosed on this page.

Prices and cookies

Prices shown on product pages are recorded snapshots with an as-of context from the catalogue; always confirm the live retailer price before checkout. Affiliate networks may set cookies so a later purchase can be attributed — see our privacy policy for cookie choices.
