1. What this site is

WattPicks publishes normalised manufacturer specifications for portable power stations, derived metrics computed from those specifications, and editorial analysis of the brands and use cases involved. It is an information and comparison service. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell a product, and we are not a party to any transaction you make with a manufacturer.

2. Specifications are vendor claims

Specifications are transcribed from each manufacturer’s own product listing. We verify that a figure was published by the vendor and that our transcription matches the vendor’s wording; we do not independently verify that the vendor’s claim is accurate. Cycle life, noise, surge ratings and recharge times are measured by manufacturers under conditions of their choosing.

Product specifications and prices change without notice. The price shown is a vendor list price captured at collection time and is a reference point, not a live quote. Always confirm current specifications and pricing on the manufacturer’s own page before buying.

3. No professional advice

Content here is general information to help you compare products. It is not electrical, safety, engineering or medical advice. Sizing a power system for a medical device, a vehicle installation or a home circuit is a decision with safety consequences: consult a qualified professional. Where we discuss medical devices such as CPAP machines, we are describing typical power draw and nothing more.

4. Rankings and composites are judgements

Dimension rankings are computed from verified data and the formula is stated on each page. Composite scores, including home-backup readiness and our service-life ranking, are our editorial judgement; their inputs and weights are published so that you can evaluate or disagree with them. A high ranking is not a recommendation that a product is suitable for your particular circumstances.

5. Affiliate disclosure

WattPicks participates in affiliate programmes. We may earn a commission when you follow a link to a manufacturer and make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you. This is disclosed on every page and does not influence specifications, which are generated from vendor pages programmatically, or rankings, which are computed from those specifications.

6. Intellectual property

Site content — including the normalised dataset, derived metrics, rankings, brand profiles and explanatory text — is owned by WattPicks and may not be republished commercially without permission. Product names, model numbers and images remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison. Manufacturer trademarks are used nominatively: to refer to the actual products being compared.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape this site at a rate that degrades service for others, attempt to circumvent security measures, or republish substantial portions of the dataset without permission. If you would like to use the data, contact us — we are generally happy to discuss it.

8. Accuracy and corrections

We work to keep the dataset accurate and we correct errors promptly. Corrections are made in the underlying dataset rather than patched onto individual pages. Report an error to [email protected].

The site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude warranties and are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the information published here.

These terms may be updated; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
