Portable power stations ranked by AC recharge speed
How many watts each power station accepts from a wall outlet, computed from vendor charge times. Faster recharge means the unit is ready again sooner.
Recharge speed decides whether a station is a tool or a chore. A unit that refills in an hour gets used between errands; one that takes eight hours sits empty.
Comparing raw charge times is unfair across different battery sizes, so this ranking converts each vendor charge time into a nominal charging rate in watts. A 2,000 Wh unit that fills in 90 minutes is charging at roughly 1,333 W.
How this is calculated
capacity Wh ÷ (vendor AC charge time in hours) (higher is better)
Derived from vendor-stated times to 100% under ideal conditions. Real charging slows near full, and circuit limits, temperature and battery state all reduce the achieved rate.
