The same 1,000 Wh unit can be the right answer and the wrong answer depending only on who is asking. For a camper who carries it 200 metres from the car, the deciding number is weight. For a homeowner running a fridge through an outage, the deciding number is switchover time and whether the inverter survives compressor start-up. Neither buyer cares much about the other’s priority, and a spec table presents both identically.
Each scenario below therefore starts with the buyer rather than the product: who they are, why they are buying, what they will actually run, which specs decide it, what they will pay extra for, and — most usefully — which mistakes make them regret the purchase. Only then does it point at models, using the same verified dataset as the rest of the site.
