Real owner voices
What actual owners say — including the ones who are unhappy
Every rating and every quotation on this page was collected from the manufacturer’s own product page. We quote owners verbatim, attribute each one by the name the vendor published, and link back to the source. We do not write reviews, edit them, or smooth them out.
The shape of the ratings, not just the average
Averages hide the thing buyers care about. A 4.6 made of five-star reviews is a different product from a 4.6 with a stubborn tail of one-star failures.
The dissatisfaction, first
The lowest-rated reviews we hold, presented before the praise. A comparison site that shows you only happy owners is selling, not comparing.
Dissatisfied c.Don't be tricked into buying a refurbished product
Don't be tricked into buying a refurbished product. They do not make it obvious that you are buying refurbished and have a short warranty. Then fail shortly after the warranty is up. I'm going to try Bluetti because they are more highly rated by most technology websites.
Darius D.Bring Duct Tape
I bought this unit along with the 200w solar panels through one of Jackery's online dealers Off Grid Stores or OGS. We bought this combo along with an ICECO VL 45 PRO S fridge for a 10 day trip in Moab. The issue we had was with the 12v dc port or car port/cigarette lighter port. It worked fine with the iceco male end at first. This changed after I bought a 12v dc splitter so that I could run my fridge and awning lights at the same time. The splitter worked but just barely, it had to be just right or no go. Here's the real problem, after using the splitter and going back to the iceco male end only IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. Nothing, something about using the splitter changed something. So I was stuck with running the fridge off of the fussy splitter. I had to duct tape the splitter into the ultra to make a reliable contact. I couldn't risk my fridge not running while dispersed camping in Moab in 90 degree plus heat. I thought, dang, well at least I'll get a replacement unit when we get home....... Nope. Jackery said " replacing the unit will not resolve the car port charging issue" and they went on to mention irrelevant stuff like insertion depth and what not. So I gather from their re

Every model with owner ratings
Sorted by how many owners rated it, so the figures with the largest sample sizes come first. A 5.00 from three reviews and a 4.75 from 471 are not the same evidence.

What owners complain about most
Reading across every critical review we hold, the failure modes cluster tightly — and they are not the things specification tables measure:
- Batteries that stop charging, often well inside the warranty period. Several owners describe a unit that worked for a year and then would not accept a charge at all.
- Warranty and returns friction. The most heated reviews are not about hardware but about the process of getting a faulty unit replaced or refunded.
- Firmware and software faults, including units replaced and failing again.
- Repairability. “No repair options” is a recurring theme: when these units fail out of warranty, they are frequently not serviceable.
- Refurbished units sold without clear labelling — a complaint that recurs specifically around refurbished listings.
None of this is visible in a capacity figure, a watt rating or a cycle-life claim. It is the strongest argument for reading owner reviews alongside — not instead of — the specification data, and it is why this page exists next to the rankings rather than behind them.
Coverage, stated honestly
56 of 56 models in our dataset have an owner rating published, representing 7,143 individual ratings. Only 24 models come with review text we can quote, across 2 brands.
That asymmetry is itself information about the brands: some publish the full review text alongside a score, while others publish a bare average. Where a brand publishes only a number, we show the number and say that the text is not available — we do not pad the gap with reviews invented elsewhere. See the transparency page for how each brand compares on what it discloses.
All 233 quotations on this site are also shown on the individual model pages, and the full sourcing policy is in the methodology.
